Sounds like you had one hell of a time. Testing new trucks, drinking beer and checking out chicks. That's awesome.
Isn't that something you can have some affect on?
BTW, are they changing anything with the IFS on the Silverado or is it still the same torsion bar set up? Do you know if they are going to market the Silverado like Ford does the Superduty? I guess you probly aren't allowed to say anything but I'm just hoping they make the truck to be A TRUCK and not some futuristic bull crap. I think they will lose a lot of sales to Ford on the 3/4 ton and up if they take the futuristic spaceship route.
I do have a few tips for anyone that maybe waiting on the new silverado or tahoe to come out. the tip is that they are freakin ugly. GM changed the dash design again and this time they made it completely flat other than the half round instrument cluster which sticks up on the drivers side.

well I am working in the 60/90 degree V6 group so I mainly work on cars but the truck group is across the garage so that is how I get to see what they have going on. don't really go over there to much. I work on the new G6's, grand prix, U vans (venture, uplander), equinox, some malibus and buicks etc. I have a new G6 convertible coupe in the garage right now, they are really fun to drive but I for one don't care for the looks of the new convertible coupe. I do like the regular G6 with the manual trans though, fun as heck to drive around our circle track here on the grounds. we are allowed to do up to 110 on the circle track and only like 75-80 on the small oval track due to the broken up pavement. for anyone looking to buy a new GM car I would highly recommend waiting for the new 07's to come out they will have our new LZ9 engine in them which we are working on now. they have DOD which is displacement on demand, it actually shuts off the rear three cylinders while at cruising speeds to save on fuel. after two years we finally got it working pretty good. to bad I can't bring a camera on grounds because I would love to show you guys some of the cool rides we have in the garage.
