Got my Escape mag. the other day. I usually don't pay much attention to the snowmobile section, but this time I gave it a good look through. I noticed a four stroke model with EFI, 750cc, and TURBO. Is it just me or would it make one sweet *** quad?!!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody try that conversion before?

there was talk about a sportsman with a turbo on it on here...I dont see what good it would do honestly....it doenst matter how much horse power you have if you dont have the transmission, rev limiter, gearing, and all that good stuff to go along with it....just my .02

It just seems to me that the company who has all these firsts can't see this as another feather in their cap. Especially if the manufacturers are really coming up against a cc limit. The only way to have a bigger better faster machine will be to make them perform better.

but in turn, will cost more....turbos arnt all that cheaper...
I would look into machining the clutch to get better performance out of it, or make it lighter.... find rotational weight that is excesive and take it off....find things that people are already taking off and take it off....upgrade the shocks....make ergos better...find things that we improve...and make them even better

It took Polaris 18 years to create a purpose built 2wd sport quad instead of a scrambler without the front differential. The Scrambler 500 has been out for 8 years, the 400 a few years more. The only reason we saw the 500 was because of Cali's 2 stroke laws, Polaris doesnt seem too concerned with the innovation of the sport atv market, so I wouldnt hold my breath. But its a nice thing to dream about, just like more 450 quads and a suzuki or honda big bore sport. In the meantime, I suggest the KFX700. Kawi will have EFI for the v-twin in a couple years and then you can slap it on a KFX700 and go.
