Default 04.5 vs 05 SP500 differences

I am looking for a new SP500. I found a couple new 2004.5 500's still available and can go for a 2005 for about $600 more. I have read the comparisons and don't feel the new headlights or storage bin is worth the extra money. I am mainly concerned about the ride and steering.

Has anyone ridden them back to back and can give an honest opinon on the handling and steering of the two models? thanks

05 have 26" tires where 04 has 25. 05 have more travel than the 04. Rear work lights. If you ride at night , there will be times that , that would be worth is weight in gold!! Storage, better tires!! The 05 in my opinion is better.

I would ride both and see for your self ... the 2005 does have longer travel and bigger tires compared to the 2004.5 ... i haven't riden the new 2005 but i love my 2004.5
