How much can I mill off a polaris 250 traiboss head to increase performance?



Thanks, looks like I'll try .020 to start with.

Default head milling

Milling a head doesn't automaticly improve preformance ... it's to "reflatten" the head after it's bin warped.

i found a difference in yr to yr heads. on my 2000 tb 250 we took about .030 off to bump the compression up. was a little too much so we machined a little more dome in it to lower it back down. most go with around .020. more performance is gained in porting and piston, as far as in the motor itself. nut the head will help some
