I read in other post about replacements for the polaris belts, the dayco max2 #max1121m2 and the other one was gates #19AT4090. I asked a friend at work(his dad runs a auto store) to check them for me and the dayco max2 crossreferenced to a different gates belt that costs $9, the other gates(#19AT4090) was $22. Need a little help to decide if I should go this way or just order a polaris, or HPD belt.

The dayco max2 when crossreferenced to the gates($9 belt) was a very cheap auto belt, seems that is not one to go with, or is the crossreference wrong?

any other recomendations?

 

Dayco HP belts are nice

 

I like my Dayco seems to have more grip to it.

 

OK just did some research online at gates website and the dayco max2 DOES crossreference to the gates #19AT4090. The guy at the store must have made a mistake.

since I can get the gates for $22 I think I will go with that.

Do you have a part number for the Dayco HP for a 500 scrambler? thier website just says the Dayco HP if for ATVs but doesn't list the ones for specific models.

does the scrambler have the same belts as the sportsman 500... if it does then here is one for youDayco HP

 

I have the 19AT4090 Gates from Carquest but yet to install. (FOR NON ebs MACHINES) $26
They make the HPD belts.
