Polishing scratches Scrambler 500 2004
I bought mine used in the summer. It had alot of scratches in it so this winter, I striped it down and sanded the plastic. Then I took them to a painter and he clear coated them for me. They look sweet and u can wax the fenders now that they have clear coat. My back fenders are getting re done though because I rolled my bike while I was on the ski doo trail(wasn't suppose to be.lol) and met up with a sled who was on the wrong side. My front tire went through the snow and she rolled. With all the weight on the bike in the snow it push the fenders right in and cracked the clear coat. But oh well , at least I didn't get hurt!

Belive it or not you can wet sand the scratches out and then use a buffer with polishing compound. I had a white scrambler that was scratched up pretty bad I started with 400 and finished with 2000, then buffed. Alot of work but it did come out pretty good.
