stock rim needed
#1
I just got my new Sportsman HO and went riding this past weekend up at Paul Bunyan. I've got the 26" Mudrunners on it all the way around. We were riding down a logging road, doing about 40 or so. I got to close to the right side of the road where the grass was real high. Didn't see the 1 foot diameter boulder hiding in the grass just waiting for me. Nailed it with my right front wheel. Needless to say I lost that battle. I didn't fall off or anything, but it put a quite a nasty dent in the rim. Could not drive it this way. Had to winch on to the back of another Sportsman 500 and get towed 2 miles back to my truck. Found a Ford dealer that was still open and borrowed a BFH to hammer the rim as close as we could back to round. Slimed the tire and refilled with air. Next morning it was still holding air. Need to know where I can get a stock front rim for a 01 Sportsman HO - relatively cheap.
Thanks, in advance

tcdal0,
This would be well worth your time: Call Hattiesburg Cycle, located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. They have lots of take-offs. I was just recently over there, and they had some black rims off of sportsman 500's. They charge $25 ea. for rims. Call them!!! If you have any questions concerning them, let me know. This would be a brand new rim.
