Hey guys I have a 2001 500 scrammy. the problem is the front end bottoms out way too easy. Im happy with the rear but the front stinks. could anbody give me some ideas on where to get some good front springs and possibly maybe some new struts. I dont want to spend a arm and a leg just some good upgrades for a good price. thanks

My 01 Scrambler is the opposite: the front is way too stiff and the rear is soft. Anyway, when I was looking for a stiffer rear spring, my dealer told me that Polaris carries factory replacement front springs that are stiffer than stock. I don'y know the part number but it is listed as an option is the parts manual.

 

Does the Scrambler use the same struts as the Sportsman's? If so, a set of springs from a twin should stiffen up the ride a bit.

 

you can get FOX struts from the dealer, or works shocks after market. there about the same price and most feel the works shocks are better.

I have been having the same problems you have. It doesn;t appear theres really a cheap fix. there are progressive spring kits(progresive spring, Hot seat) but from what I have found on the forum there actually more prone to bottoming out then the stock springs unless you have new struts.
