04.5 700 carb re-jet
#1
My sp700 ran like crap this winter, so the dealer did the cold weather jet update, and after some bad installation issues were corrected it ran great the rest of the year. My question is: is this richer or leaner jetting? I am wondering if I should re-jet for the summer. My gas milage before the jetting was not that great, so if this will make it worse yet I want to go back at least to what I had through the summer. I haven't been able to really tell how the milage will be as I have only been plowing with it since the re-jet.
Thanks!!

No need to re-jet again. The update us just that, an update, not a "winter jetting". It helps with start up, warm up, and drive away performance in all temps but more so in colder temps. As far as being richer or leaner, I think for my 600 it was an enrichment, don't know about your 700, compare the parts to the original parts in your manual to find out. Your machine should run better with the update in warm weather with no noticable change in fuel economy. Here's a copy of the Service Bulletin:
