Default what's the best tires for the Pred

What do you guys think is the best tires for my 04 predator? I already have the stock razzar and wore them out quick but they slid easy and gave the quad more wheelspin. After awhile I got the razzar 2 set, right after i started using them I noticed that the quad was doggy and slower. so I figured it was time to fix up the engine. I have web cams, Nicholas cycles stage 1 head work ,modded carb, hinson clutch, rath head pipe , a pure polaris slip on and a dyna fs cdi . Well, right from the get go I thought that this kit isn't enough because it wasn't any faster then it was when new with the stock tires. Don't get me wrong the quad has great power but, isn't faster off the line and it seems like it takes longer to climb up to the top. I've tried different cures on the dyna and all kinds of other tricks, but, it was still slow. I now feel that it is the rarrar2 rear tires, they are heavy, they have deep lugs, and even in sand they grip like the rooster paddle tires I have. They may even waste more power to the ground then the paddles. They feel like they are too grippy

So i ask you,do you think the tires are slowing my quad down and stealing power?
What tire are all you running and how do you feel about them?

I have the kenda Klaws, and I love them.....but they are 6 ply. They have to be the best trail tire. I have another buddy that got them and another going to get them.

I was thinking of them. some one told me to try out a pare of the stock tires from a new honda 450 or the new yamaha 450. they told me that my quad would be so much faster with them but,I feel I would kill those junky tires quick.

If you want to be faster off the line, I would go with a set of 18's......and I would get the Klaws.

18's That would be to small i think . Here in NJ we have alot of woops, train tracks to cross, soft sand patches. I don't want to loss ground clearance.

That was the reason I did not go with 18's. I went with a sprocket change instead. This thing will snap your head off now

Razr2's are a 6ply tire. Your stockers were only a 4ply. Going to a 6ply tire does make a difference, but are you sure your setup properly? Did you adjust your jetting accordingly for your mods? You may not be getting the most out of your current setup. You should have deffinately been faster after your work. The razr2's are heavy, but it sounds like you may be having other issues as well.

I could be having a small carb issue. The carb was modded but, i think my set up could use a new bigger higher flowing carb. I tried to order a 45mm mikini from hpd but, they won't be ready for awhile,i was told it was because of throttle cable issues for the hpd thumb throttle, which i have. anyway I running a 200 main jet in the stock carb and the plug kinda looks good.
I still think it could be the tires, after all with them on the stock rear rims they are very heavy.
There is no way that with all those parts it could wrong,I even thought that it was a engine tunning thing at frist but after having it checked out by my engine builder and a few trust worthy guys they all told me that the engine was very stong and running right. It's not like it dose have power,as a matter of fact it has way more torque.
I'm telling you I have never felt any tire like this stlye, grip like they do.No one beleives me ontill they try it.
