I am not sure why, but sometimes I have to reload a page 7-8 times to get it to come up. It is very frustrating and getting worse. I do not have this problem at other sites like HL. Does anyone else have this same problem or is it just me?

Sorry for the duplicate post. The other one took so long I thought that it was not working.

 

The loading of pages has slowed down in the last week or two. For instance when I went to reply to your post, I had to reload the page.

The site is becoming slower in all functions

 

Me too. Loading pages is getting way slow. I suspect the banner adds.

 

We had some problems with the new banner ad server software. It should be fine now.

I suspect that over 13000 readers may have something to do with it. Oh well, unless or until we are required to pay a membership fee I suppose we can't complain.

 

Could it be you are all using 56K modems or less? If not....ignore me
