i was wondering if the 800 snorkle will fit on a 500?and if not whats the best way of giving it more air. i have a k&n now.Will it need a bigger jet with more air?

 

Look at my pics, if you air box looks the same it should work. I was thinking I looked at a 500 at the dealer and its airbox sit further back under the seat then the twins. If thats the case it wont work. User dontgetbehindme got the one I have for his 03 (I think) 500 and it wouldn't fit.

did the mod make much difference in performance?did you rejet?

 

I didn't notice much difference, It seems to/ sounds like it revs quicker. I did not rejet I havn't even checked the plugs yet. I figure If/when I get a silencer, K&N filter, and rejet it will be worth having the snorkle.
