I dont think there is any hop ups for 15mph. He will basically blow you away. Do you have 4x4 if so then show him up in the mud. BUt you can try a pipe, K&N air filter, jet kit, clutch kit, and anything else to make it lighter. Like handlebars. So your basically going to have to spend about 1000-1500 on this project and will most likely still get beat. 85mph is just TOO fast.

The Raptor does not go 85mph, rest assured. However, it would still be a miracle for you to beat him even with hop ups. Scrambler 500:60-65mph, Raptor: 70-75mph. Definately too big a difference. CT 00 Scrambler 500

Yeah, I don't think you could hop up the 4 stroke enough to catch him. There might be something you could do with a 400, but I don't know.

I DONT THINK THE SCRAMBLER WILL BEAT THE RAPTOR IN A DRAG RACE, HOWEVER IF YOU WANT THE MOST BANG FOR THE BUCK K&N FILTER, HPD EXHAUST, & CLUTCH KIT. THE HPD EXHAUST IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN. IT MADE A HUGE IMPROVEMENT ON MY BIKE.

After modifying your Scrambler, you could try letting all the air out of his back tires when he's not looking.

BERT - - I didn't notice a huge difference with the pipe. Where did you notice it, top, mid, bottom? Do you know what kind of revs our pulling?

I FELT A HUGE GAIN IN THE LOW TO MID RANGE. DID YOU INSTALL A CLUTCH KIT? MY MACHINE HAS THE STOCK CLUTCH. MY TRANS IS A DUAL RANGE FROM A EXPLORER.

If you want to beat him in a drag race, try to find you an old Suzuki LT500R. That should do the trick. I would assume that this quad stock would run with the raptor better than anything. I only ask WHY they don't still make it.
