OK just adding a clutch kit does not add HP. It will however help it shift better. BUT adding a clutch kit to a stock 250 does not do much. If you really want to wake it up you need an HPD trail pipe, agressive clutch kit, K&N filter and jetting. Or even a RCR stage 1 kit. This will make a night and day difference. 250's are very capable of beatng 400's. If you cant afford a pipe, clutch kit then just change the primary spring and it will make a huge difference in the stock performance.
