I was wondering what is the difference between the 2005 Predator and the 2005 Troy Lee Edition???
And also which quad is better for trails in general im ridin like forest floor some mud pits and water that will pop up occasionally and sometimes sand. Which pred would be faster also???

I don't know about performance, but I read elsewhere in the forums that a rider had a Troy Lee edition that got damaged and plastic was expensive to replace.

@nd, 3rd and 4th gear are geared lower, which would have a fater accelaration (I have heard that when you hit 5th you lose alot of power due to the different gearing). I believe it has different front shocks and different tires.

The biggest difference is the shocks. I've heard that the shocks on the TLD are comparable to Elkas. I have the TLD, but have never ridden on Elkas so the comparison doesn't mean much to me. I will say that the shocks are impressive and easy to dial-in. Other than that, the TLD has better tires and a closer gear ratio... and of course the color design.
