Default Tach on a 700

Has anyone put a tach on there 700 if so what kind? Mine is an 03 and the only way I can use my tach is in diagnostic mode. I would like to know what my rpm's are while riding.

The tiny tach is ok ... but very slow in showing the current rpms ... i would look at snowmobile parts to find a good tach.

I have a highlifter tach and temperature guage on my 2002 SP700, mounted up easy and came with instructions. Look at my gallery for pics, they are kinda small but you'll get the idea.

This must be a coincidence I was just about to pm you about your gauges (I seen them in an old post). I looked at Highlifter but could not find the tach could you point me in the right direction.

I don't see it either, maybe you could shoot them an e-mail. Those guy's are pretty cool, they might have one laying around.
Sorry I wasn't much help.

Have you thought about putting an Edelbrock carb on that monster or is that 40mm a non cv carb already.
I was wondering what the difference in performance was like.
