I think Rick is saying it will feel no different using the new larger tires than the stock set up. Pay no attention to the RPMs at which the clutch grips the belt. Feel the bars, look at the speedo (although because of the larger tires, it will show you are slower). Race a friend 3 times (3 times is a good benchmark) and then make some changes. Always measure against a constant. ie time, distance/time with a good buddy. If your a hot rodder(NASCAR) you are changing your rear end ratio..... does that make sense?

I know what you mean about changing gear ratio. Just like a truck with 3.43 gears and 4.11 with the same motor. The 4.11 will make the motor work alot less and pull more than a 3.43 geared truck but will turn more rpm to go the same speed. Not the greatest example but I what you mean. I'm more worried about lowend engagement because when you are doing low speed technical driving you do not want the motor to rev up and slam the clutches together to move. It is hard to drive with the motor reving up and engaging to move, reving up and engaging to move, when you are thring to climb something slow.

Buy one and try it . If you don't like it you can get a 100% refund (all the money back EXCEPT the $8 shipping charge ) .

How's that ?

If I was going to put a kit in one it would be a Dalton kit .

Yup , I had to stick that in there (just so ya know I may be bias)

Dale nor I have any experience tuning a 800 clutch . When the weather breaks in Canada Dale is going do one up . (he is off for a week or 2 in Florida winding down after snow season)

I have heard poeple are having luck with the Dalton blue but I have no hands on dealing with the 800 .

Rick,

So where can I get a Dlaton kit? Do I have to go through the stealer ship? I would like to get one ordered since we have a ride coming up in a few weeks...

Also everyone, my pictures are finally up...more to come.

I have 26" Mudlite on my 700 EFI and installed the Aaen (http://aaenperformance.com/) on mine... NOT impressed.. I made it to the end of the street turned around and put the factory stuff back in it. YES, i installed the shim it asked for and a new belt also at the same time.

The bike was on the rev limiter in 10'.
