predator stock horsepower?
hey ive been gone for a while but im back and i was wondering if anyone has ever put a stock predator on a dyno. Ive had a predator for a little over a year now and i have been wondering what the hp and torque of it is. Its compleatly stock. By asking people ive gotten anywhere from 32 to 48 hp and 20 to 35 torque......i was wondering if anyone had an exact number or a number they know is close to correct.

My brother did his so he could see the power difference with his mods. Stock he was just over 35rwhp. Then he put the CFM air box with his Polaris pipe and rejet and he got just under 40rwhp. The guy told him if he ran without the airbox lid and jetted accordingly he would be around 42-43rwhp. By his dynoing it, his Pred runs awesome. He can't believe the feel of the 5hp. One day we were out riding pretty fast and he hit a corner fast and as he was coming out he nailed the gas and his Pred did the backwards flip on him. He said he has never had this happen to him before and he has been riding for years. He said the Pred came up so quick that it caught him off guard but it landed back on its wheel just without a rider. Maybe he did the first backflip.

As far as the torque for the predator, the one dyno I looked at showed the pred making around 26ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Remember the pred. makes a lot more hp than torque, as its powerband clearly illustrates this. Soft on the bottom, but hits hard on the mid-to-high rpms. I know this is off the subject, but I would like to see what the big bores put out, as far as torque. The DS650s and Raptors have to be putting down lots of torque at the rear wheels.
