yep- and actually between march 1st and november 30th they have winter specials on lodging and it's cheaper and they also give discounts for returning customers, customers staying 7 days and also discounts for anyone serving in the US military.

Silverbullet...nice pics. I've ridden Moab...and I've ridden the Piaute Trail. I believe the Hatfield McCoy Trails are on the agenda for my next trip. I appreciate the info about Marty and Lisa and the 1st class outfit they run. I'll definitely look them up when we go out in September.

Ride safe!

glad to hear everyone likes my pictures. I loved it so much down there that it's now going to be a dissappointment to ride anywhere around home now. I want to go back, oh wait I forgot I am going back but not till July. I won't be riding the Hatfield trails but will be riding the 44 acres my father in law owns in Hinton WV which should be just about the same terrain.

Bullet ,
44 acres aint much, we ride 108 at my buddies in tuscola co.
44 would get old quick, you might as well plan on hitting the HM trails at least a day or two while all the way down in WV.

miles to WV or miles to ride on the 44 acres just he owns? there is more land around his 44acres but don't know If I can ride on that or not, the HM trails are about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from his house in Hinton but it would definitely be worth it. I am going to take both mine and the wifes 700efi's down there so it would be pretty cool for both of us to ride the HM trail again. we could drive from Hinton to Gilbert and get on the trails at the trailhead there in Gilbert. the only pain is that I would either have to pay $18 for each of us for a 1 day pass or $37 for a week pass for each of us if we planned on riding for a couple days. I may call Marty at the Browning Fork Trailhouse and see If I can park at his place for the day.

I figured it all out. when the wife and I go down to WV in July we already planned on hauling both 700EFI's down so I think what my wife and I plan to do is to wake up early one morning while were down there and drive the 1 1/2 to 2 hours to ride either at the Browning Fork Trails, Pinnacle trails or Buffalo Mountain trails for the day. then drive back to her parents house in Hinton. the only bad part is that we would have to pay $18 each for a one day pass but to be honest the fee is worth every penny to be able to ride trails like the ones at the HM trail system.

We wnt up on April 30th for there jamboree, didn't ride in the poker run or in any of the events. That was 90 bucks, we just rode and it cost 19 bucks each for one day. We live about 2 hours from there so we drove up that mourning. It was muddy as he!! because it rained like friday night. We had a great time until my brothers chain broke. We stayed and watched the drag races that night, but the big hillclimb at the site was closed off for 10 days. They are having a AMA hillclimb event there on May 7th and it had to be closed. The trails were awesome, we rode on some of the same trails like #10, liked to open up the bikes on those trails, but also found some nices hills. Had a great time just like you did and would recommend it to anyone, maybe next time we will try out some of the other trails systems though. Nice pics also.
