I have a 500HO carb on my 700 and was wondering if someone with a 500HO could tell me what is hooked up to the line in the front of the carb. It has a line on the left front side while your setting on the atv. The line goes in right next to where the choke cable is screwed into the carb. This would help me a bunch.

 

no one else has posted anything so im just gonna take a guess and say it could be some sort of breather hose so the carb could vent, i know my lakota carb has 3 breahters

where did you get that oil temp gauge, i want to get one but i cant seem to find anything besides a 130 dollar digital one

 

I thought it might be to a breather hose but I didn't know. I have had it blocked off and having problems getting the carb dialed in correctly and thought I would ask. I got the oil & temp gauges at O'rilly auto parts for $29.99 it also came with a volt gauge that I didn't use they are Equus brand.

 

Help please.

 

I'm going pretty sure that is the carb vent. The tube runs to the air box....
