Default Brakes Squeak

Forget the tube stuff. I have found out a long time ago to use the anti squeal sticker. It is a sticker that is aluminum. It like in the picture from Dennis Kirk.com and you should be able get it at a auto parts store. Bevel the edges. It could help. Also get the pad hot by dragging the brakes to burn the oil off. The last thing is replacing them.

i have a new kfx400 and after i ride somewhere that has alot of dust or sand my brakes squeek. All i do is put some wd40 on my finger and put it on the roter and that makes it quit till i ride again.

hey hardwood, yeah it is usually the rear brakes that make the noise or it is on mine at least. the rears are a never ending project to get to stop sqeaking, but i have found the technique of the water hose being sprayed in between the pads seems to help out the most...i don't know if there is a permanent fix though.
