CV brush guards/ stick stoppers
Hi all. I'm looking for CV brush guards/ stick stoppers for my 2002 Polaris 500 HO. I want the ones that wrap around the REAR a-arm and protect the CV boot and axle from the front, back, and bottom. I have had a problem with sticks comming up from under the a-arm and ripping my boots open. I can't seem to find a supplier up here in Canada, so any help in locating a set for the rear of my bike would be great. Thanks EH!!

Polaris's set for the rear isnt bad, they offer great protection, but there is no drain hole on the bottom, so any crap that gets in there stays in there. That hasnt been a problem, though, they have protected the boots well so far.

CV brush guards/ stick stoppers
I just finished installing a pair of Stick stoppers for the front and rear on my 2004 600 sportsman. Went riding a week ago and tore a front boot. Luckly caught it before it damaged the joint. Had the boot repaired and then installed the stick stoppers. The are metal and have drain holes. They cover the side and bottom of the boot. It looks like it would be pretty hard for something to get up there and tear the boot with these on. I got them from C&S Sales (www.candssales.com). cost was $49.00 a pair. No shipping fee. Well worth the money..

Well I ripped 6 rear boots the first 6 months I had my sportsman, but none ripped since I put on the Polaris guards 6 months ago. 49 a set, be it front or back, for plastic, a bit more for aluminum (I dont see why you would need metal unless you regularly scrape your A-arms on rocks, mine have hit many times and the plastic guards just have scratches in them).
