Sportsman 500 EFI?
#6
Come on guys... Let's not hijack the thread... It's about the Sportsman 500 EFI... Remember?
I too am hoping for an EFI 500... Haven't heard too much other than what I've read in online forums, and certain "other" publications.... Can't say for sure though...

I'm hoping they make it too. Not that I'll be buying one immediately because I'm real happy with my current ride which only has about 600 miles or so.........but in a couple of years.
I think the Sportsman 500EFI would be about as ideal a quad as it gets. Sportsman suspension, plenty of power, EFI for excellent mileage, cold temp/altitude operation and no fussing with a carb.
I can see myself in one of these sometime down the road. Maybe a Camo this time
I'm curious how the price structure will shake out. The 600 will be gonzo so that will change the price structure for next year. I'm guessing the 500EFI will start at $7000/$7200 essentially stepping right into the price slot left by the 600.
Will they fuel-erect the Sportsman 400 too?........I think not.........keep the price down as the "entry-level" Sportsman. But I can also see the 400 getting a price bump do to the 600 departure.

I believe that within the next 3 years we will see the majority of 400cc and bigger machines all having EFI mostly due to polaris and suzuki's success with their current ones. I would love to see the kawie 750v-twin in an EFI.
