Default Scrambler 500

I am thinking about selling my 400ex and getting a Scrambler 500 4x4. With an aftermarket exhaust, jetting, and clutching is it possibly to keep up with a z400 in a straight line. Thanks

a stock z 400? maybe... i have both a LTZ400 and a scrambler 400 2x4... the scrambler 400 smokes the 500 off the line and the suzuki smokes the 400... but depending on if everything is tuned right it may.

your 400 must be stock,i know my 400 will easily walk away from a piped z400.the 500 scrammy is comparable to the 400ex in speed and acceleration..

In a straight line the Scram 500 will get killed by a Z400. Trails & woods you'll have no problem hanging with any other sport quads, but when it comes to the wide open forget it.
