If anything I need to head up to Rye and test drive them, but I dont want to do that until Im ready to bring it home with me.

How often do you use the 4x4? Is it at all useful in the dunes or it is mostly a bad weather thing?
Hey hudson, check out keiths equipment in Phoenix (55th Ave and Van Buren). I test rode both the Predator LE and TLD there and they are very cool. Threw me the keys and said check it out. No pressure after that either to buy right away. I wound up getting the LE as it fit my riding style better.

I keep hearing about the cinders but have never been. my family owns a house near there which is why the hope to find a well balanced quad that I wont have too mess with too much.

Given my hope to have a quad that performs in all enviroments, what would you suggest? I REALLY like the idea of automatic since I am a take it all in and enjoy the ride type of guy Kawasaki has that nice automatic 700 but it isnt cheap.

If we skip the automatic what else would fit these multiple roles of glamis, phoenix, and flagstaff?

Should I give in to my buddies rantings of the DS650?

CHICK BIKE? NOT MANLY? Try a tuned 400 Scrambler or even a tune 500 if you arent into topend. My old 400 Sportsman would eat any manual shift quad up on the trails. When I had a HSP speed kit on the 400 it would hang with the modded 660 Raptors and the Banshees that is with a fat boy on it. Now my 500 wont out run on topend or out jump a Pred but lets go to the woods
