Been having trouble with my 425 going into reverse, have cleaned the connections several times but the problem just keeps coming back! Any suggestions?

 

Have you tried holding down the reverse limiter button while you put in reverse? Sometimes the reverse limiter goes out. If that is the problem the easiest way to bypass it is to unplug the limiter. Its the black electrical connector under the gas tank. Hope it works out, good luck!

 

Sounds like the actuator is bad.
