Every time I read this forum it makes me jealous of how great yopu guys in the States have it for the outdoor life...
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the UK, but sadly there is no true wilderness here any more.
I'm thinking of coming over and looking into renting a couple of ATVs and heading off the beaten track, maybe even doing some hunting if possible... does anyone know the best way to go about this? I'm not into totally organised tours, but any agencies that can help arrange this sort of thing would be great.

If your ever boating up through lake onterio into the St. Laurence River i have a house on the water between clayton and ogdensberg. Near a place called Brockville on the canadian side. I bring my quads up there to ride. We have a 20 foot Maxim bow rider witha 230hp mercruiser but it gets us around. great for day trips

Hey CTATV. Sounds like a great place. The furthest we have been was to Thousand islands (by MH not boat). That is a very nice area. LOL, at 1 mile/gallon, not sure we we would ever make it by boat; but it sure sounds tempting.
