I was told that if you go in to the Police with a VIN# and they run it, if it is stolen they make you show them where you got from.

i think your focus should be on IF your ex-girlfriend could cover your loss through her homeowner's insurance. also, a phone call to yours wouldn't hurt either. in some States homeowner's covers ATVs.

getting some relief from the insurance company would help your wallet as well as your blood pressure.

my homeowners wont cover it cuz it wasnt on my property, and she said hers wont cover it. but the more i talk to her the more things dont add up and i've just about come to the conclusion that she sold it out from under me. which if she did she better hope i dont get proof.

If thats the case and you have the title and are the rightful owner she and the buyer should be worried that you turned it over to the police and provided the Vin#.

If that guy gets caught with it he has stolen property and it will be retured to you.
try and find out whom has it and preess the issue with the police.

and for what it's worth, we all aren't ***holes on here and we don't need someone coming on here to take their frustration out on us who are trying to help others like you. the use of all your ********* was not nescessary and if you look at the top left of the screen you will see a little picture of a lock that is for PRIVATE MESSAGES,therefore the next time you want to have a fit on here against one particular person i suggest that you use it or risk the possibility of all the other good people on here NOT helping you with your atv problems. my .02 cents
