Default 2004 Trail Boss 330 Exhaust Question

We are looking for an exhaust for our 2004 Trail Boss 330. Apparently this is a hard to find item! Does anyone know of an exhaust for this ATV that will boost performance? Anything else that might help boost performance?

Thanks in advance!

Default 2004 Trail Boss 330 Exhaust Question

Rick Ritter has a Stage 1 Performance Kit for the Boss that really wakes up the quad. Clutching, Air Filter & Exhaust are the only real upgrades available for the 330. We have the RCR kit on our 03(same as 04) and it made a huge difference. Exhaust is a White Bros E-Series slip-on, it's louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud.

Same here. Have the kit on an 05, and the wife loves the sound, and the extra power Rick somehow found in that engine. Check out his site, then give him a call. Rick really knows Polaris, and will get you a kit tailored to your riding.

Default 2004 Trail Boss 330 Exhaust Question

The 330 clutching has to be tuned. A slip on will help a little along with K&N filter but the clutching is the key with this one. I use a EPI pink primary spring ($20) and a Polaris red secondary set at 2-2. This alone gave me an extra 8mph on top and 700rpm's. I dont have a slip on yet but that is in the near future. It is a whole new machine now. I have a ton of extra stuff on mine so if you want to see the Cadillac of Trail boss's look at my pics. Oh and welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone! I just got off the phone with Rick. I ordered the RCR Stage 1 kit, and we are anxiously awaiting it! I'll let everyone know how it worked out.

2many - Very nice pics!! I just posted some of my own, might be a little bit before you can view them yet.

Thanks again!!

Spiff,
It is definitly louder than stock, but not as loud as my Z400. It has a nice growl to it, but if where you ride is somewhere you worry about sound it might be a little loud. I think it has a real nice sound, and it isn't annoyingly (new word?) loud.
