Hey mtpockets,

Well so far so good. I've done some "serious" muddin' and bush riding this week, washed it today and NOT A SCRATCH !!! ......... Still looks like it did in the showroom.

It's only a matter of time before it gets scuffed up just like any other quad, but it is holding up much better then I expected. I think that I'll keep waxing it after every wash. Gotta keep'er lookin' this good for as long as I can...lol
i'm impressed!! that's great! my Dealer said that the painted fender was stronger and less-likely to scratch then the plastic. now i believe him!

Don't misunderstand my message, I wasn't trying to start a war... I know my fenders scratch, but I also know they are green all the way through. I was just wondering what it would look like when a painted fender got scratched. I'm new to this "sport" and was just trying to see if my buddies dealer was accurate in the information he passed on. I don't really think it will matter in my buddies case if you say the anniversary edition is painted - since that is what he bought and you're right also - it is a beautiful metallic blue. I wondered how they did that and now you explain it's paint. Well his is scuffed up a bit - but it's not obvious what colour the fenders were before the paint.

What are you waxing your bike with Paramedic??

Happy riding - like I said I wasn't trying to start something - they are all great bikes....

Hey Barnzilla,

I use a product called "Prestone Bullet". Someone said to use a boat wax because it offers more protection. I may try it next time.
