Yes, it is possible and a lot easier and cheaper to do than you think. Basic Physics tells me that you can Push your quad off the top of a REALLY TALL building and hit 120 in no time. LOL

Sure, just put a sled motor in it, an extended swingarm, suck the suspension down and a set of street tires. Oh yeah, and them really big juevos Snowmobiles regularly run 170+ zoom, zoom, zoom

I dont see that happening with a 400 engine,i have been very close to 90 before.Maybe the powermaxx setup with nitrous, the right gearing and a long enough highway you might come fairly close.

Why wouldnt it be possible?? If you were to set it up just for the top end, not worrying about how it takes off off of the line, or anything like that. Maybe some extreme gearing?

It takes ALOT of horsepower to overcome the wind resistance at speeds like that. Like CED said, the powermaxx might be able to get you there.

yes its possible. i have the june issue of dirtwheels and they have a prototype of a scooter with atv wheels on it. the engine come out of a 92 honda cr500. in a test at the bonneville salt mines it run 99.329 mph. so if a scooter can do it i know an atv could with the right gearing.
