Polaris technology?

This is a silly question I know, but how much difference is there in the handling of a 1999 Sportsman and a new one? I currently ride a 99 and wish I could compare the two on our trails. The riding area at the dealers isn't much of a test track. I'm interested in the suspension overall and especially the effort needed to turn the machine. The 99 I ride will work on your arms on a winding trail. Thanks.

I have a 04 sportsman and a 05 sportsman. The difference is unbelievable! The 05 rides and handles soooooooo much better. It rides like a cadillac!!!! Both are a joy to ride but the 05 is much softer on trails.

I already thought the '04 Sportsmans had the best confort out there (that ive ridden). Are the '05s really that much nicer?

I'd say the new ones must be considerably better than the 99 models. I figured they had to be better. Hopefully the new 500's will have EFI and I'd also like to see a three position switch for 4X4. 2WD, 4X4 like it works now and a 3rd position for fully locked so you can putt up inclines with more ease. Oh, and 2% interest full term financing. LOL
