I have two 99 sportsmans one with no spark. I think I have found the problem if someone could tell me what the voltage should be coming out of the high and low sides. The good machine has about 90 ac and 3 ac respectivly. The bad bad machine has 45 and 3. Is a 45 volt difference under the tolerance. I hope the is someone who knows what I am talking about. It seems there is alot of inmature, I can **** farther then you types, on this board.

Are you useing a peak volt meter, the voltage you mentioned is it from the cdi box to the ignition coil,or the voltage from the trigger coil to the cdi box.

The voltage was from the high and low side of the charge coil. I disected it today and found the soldered conection was shorting out some of the windings after some careful hot glue work I got the ohms I needed put it back together and boom IT WORKED. Thanks anyway
