2002 Polaris trailblazer
Hey i'm considering buying a used 2002 Polaris Trailblazer and I'm wondering if anyone can offer me any insight on ATV's. I've never owned one before but a friend offered me this for a great price. I've compared it to ones in the trader. Is there a website you can go to for performance specs on this? Also, overall does anyone have any advice?

The Trailblazer in stock form is kinda slow but with a good pipe and clutch tuning the can rip. They are very reliable and great on the trails. Dont expect to jump high or do much of a wheelie stock. Top speed stock is around 50-54mph. With clutching and good pipe it will get you up around 60mph. How much did he offer it to you. I would say an 02 in good shape will bring 1800 to 2100. There are tons of mods for these and alot of people with the right info here. Mine would smoke 400's and I have played with alot of mods.

viper480,
I bought a 02 TB for my son for christmas. It had about 5 hours total on the bike. The previous owner was a 21 year old girl that bought it brand new and rode it in the yard once and then in a field once. She was scared of it. She was asking 2800 for it and I got it for 2100. IT has some ***** but not a bunch stock. I put a white spring in the clutch and it helped a bunch. Now it can pull wheelies and it is a lot quicker. I am looking for a pipe for it and then rejet the carb and it will have enough ***** for my son. If you are going to ride trails and or just play around then this will be a nice bike for you. The only problem I have had is the throttle cable was getting hung up under the frontfenders and cause the throttle cable to get pulled when you turned the handle bars. Re-routed the cable and away he went. I will post a picture of the TB wheelie but it will take some time before it gets posted.
