Default Pred Needle Cap Screws

Hey
Are the Needle Cap screws just as bad as the float bowl screws? The float bowl screws were put in by a monster and all I could do was strip them and by new better ones. I have to drop the needle and I am wondering if I should go get new ones first.

Thanks

Yes the cover screws are identical to the bowl screws. A little trick I've learned is use a really long, good tipped philips driver and put it into the screw slot and hit the end a few times with a hammer to seat it down well then push down hard and the screws with make a "snap" noise and break loose. Works fine for me!

yea, they are just as bad, i wouldn't waste another second on them, mine have been replaced with allen head screws, and removal is a snap. the o-ring for the needle holder is one that i've had to replace, so an extra might be something to have on hand. metric, metric, metric....
