Default Tire leaking around rim....need help

I had a similar problem with air leaks. I took a rubber mallet to where it was leaking and hit the tire part of it. It stopped the leak for me. If that doesn't work, at least it will let you take some frustration out on it Good luck.

I suggested this to Teebone awhile back in another thread and it worked for him too

I found that spraying the tire with Windex is a good way to find leaks. When you spray on a leak it just starts to foam up. I sprayed the whole tire down last weekend and the only leak i found was around the rim. I'll be trying the hammer and the silicone trick here soon. Thanks again for all of your help.

A wire wheel and chrome does not mix. If too hard will chip chrome and them you will have a serious rust problem.
Go to any reputable tire dealer and get some bead sealer, the best i have found is called freylub.
