Default SP800 is no longer the biggest!!!

Bombardier has just released the new Outlander 800 EFI with 62hp and 52lbs of torque at less then 640lbs of weight. Looks like my 800 will be for sale. I love those Rotex engin's and Bomb has a very good rep for making high quality atv's. Here is the link.Outlander 800 EFI

Don't get me wrong as I like the SP800 a lot. The power is great and I felt the handeling was better then the KQ700. But what I do to the SP800 is what many don't. ***** to the wall everytime I ride it. But what is killing me at races is the fuel mileage. I have a huge engine with only a 4.13 gal fuel tank. I can only get about 40-45 miles out of a tank and there is no way to carry more fuel. So with the Bomb coming with a 6.5 gal tank I should have no problem finishing a race without re-fueling.

Im gonna probally trade the 700 back in for it.....the 800 is the most bear in the woods ive ever ridden and I rode honda for 30 years or better..
polaris would really have to sour me bad to make me change...I rode grizzly, bruteforce, rinicon you name it and bubby bombardier too...just dont think

The Bomb 800 would have to be really great in performance over the SP800 for me to change. I just got caught up in the numbers. I just wish I had a bigger tank. 4.13 gal tank on a utility is just wrong. Since 02 there engines are getting bigger, but there fuel tanks get smaller.

Nope 4.13 Right on there web site. That is due to me also. I called Polaris and reemed them a new one because there web site said 4.75 but my manual said 4.13. They said it was a mistake and they fixed the web site. It didn't do me any good, but it could help others.
