Im hoping for a mid 06' release. It is taking a while to develop since Rotax doesn't have a 450 mill in their lineup at this time they can use. Since it takes 2-3 years to properly develop a motor, and since BRP has tested several different configurations over recent years, the decision to develop a new 450 would have been more recent. No, it's not a 3-stroke, no 2-stroke and don't hold your breath for the Aprilla twin.

its all in the breaking.
my bet is that polaris is gonna redo the 800's head to make it 800 true CC's, put in a true dual exhaust, theres plenty of room for it too. and if it is just a head and some other things, i bet you can order all the parts from polaris and make the old 800's (like mine) up to par
