What sucks is they keep making em bigger,,but they are all so detuned to protect us from ourselves its just more weight and money,not power that can really be untapped. My 2smoke 400 can still run with the best of em. I would love a big bore 4stroke if it could live to its potential and not be detuned. Hell,,let me kill myself on a 800 monster, I wont be able to sue,,and my wife would be happier anyway!

 

I remember when I thought a 500 was a big machine and thinkin "What would you need something that big for" Well I got one now and I'm wishing it was even bigger. Won't surprise me one bit if it's a 1000CC's within a year or two. But really "What would you want something that big for"....

 

I think the new BOM is a great machine on paper, but I need to see it in action. I had a SKi-doo machZ back in the day and it had the most power of anything out there, however I would still not beat the Cat's or the Polaris's across the lake. The clutching on the "stock" sleds were not up to par. Also, a friend of mine bought a girls bycycle AKA Quest 650 and it was an absolute piece of crap. When BOM fans say Polaris's are heavy they are really calling the kettle black. Now I know this is a more traditional style ATV and I won't speculate on the 800 performance until I see what real owners have to say about it here on the forums. All the hype that it will not only beat but also destroy everthing out there is riduclous. Can't argue with the numbers provided by Daranello 75 (Are you the poster boy for BOM, just saying this since the same "advertisement" is on every forum), but I bet it will have the acceleration of a BF750 with a aftermarket CDI-maybe. I'm not tyring to diss this new machine before it even hits a trail but we all have seen this hype before last one was with the new King Quad, and we now how that turned out, not much of a King at all.

Tyler11, there is a different version of this in an email. The first car says "made in america" and sounds like a real car. The second car says"made in India" with that sound track. Pretty funny!

dude forget it i am not geting into it with you, polaris is the only one founded in the USA toyota and honda are the best selling cars and but you never and i meen never evr ever ever evr ever catch me driving,sitting in, or even looking at one! i drive FORD, if thats is not avalible i drive CHEVY and if it comes to a last resort i take a DODGE and thats that.
