Just put it in low range, and keep it floored. Momentum is everything. Make sure it keeps moving.

Don't enter the water too fast. You may drown your belt with the splashing and spray. Like he said Just put it in low range, and keep it floored. Momentum is everything. Make sure it keeps moving. Sometimes a little left to right Body English on the handlebars can make the difference in a wheel finding traction. But keep moving.

If the first guy makes it through the hole, the chances are good that you will too. But... don't be the last guy to venture in. Chances are that the whole thing will be all rutted and churned up decreasing your chances.

From time to time I have noticed that the best route is through the middle, because so many people try and go around the edges.

Stay away from the cat tails. That muck is usually bottomless.

Mudmachines would work well on the back of this quad.

A trail boss is a two wheel drive with only one gear range. A good addition would be some more agressive tires. Bearclaws or something similar would make a huge difference. Momentum is everything with a two wheel drive so putting along is not the best idea.
