I have a 500 with 27 589s the only other thing that i have done to it so far is a K and N filter , i flat out ran a 650 artic cat three times the boys that I ride with all drive honda's or artic cat's and they couldn't belive how much power my polaris had, it even road better than their's even with 589's on I'll never own anything but a polaris

I have had 2 500 ho's a 01 and my most recent ride a 04.5 , in my eyes they are the pride of the polaris fleet,they make good power for a 500 and are quite reliable if taken care of, my 04.5 is hard to beat from 0to 40 mph,you must of got an exceptionally fast one though to be able to beat a 650 AC because if I am not mistaken AC uses the kawi 650 v-twin and I know that those engines are strong,well done.

 

I did trade my wife and got an 04 500 sportsman.
Best trade i've ever made and it rides alot better.
Oh yeah, and it's american made, the Ex wasn't
