I get to this bushing from the rear. I sit with my legs under the machine and lean into rear area. I have long enough arms to get the grease gun on it. It helps also that I have a pistol type grease gun. I can keep one hand on the fitting and one to operate the gun. Try using a stiffer hose if you can't reach it. Post another message if this didn't make any sense. BTW, It helps to have a good treble light up in there also, to see the fitting.

I have a pretty stiff hose and just push it up onto the fitting. Sometimes it doesn't go on right and I squirt some grease out, then I just try again.
For anyone wondering, I am talking about greasing the quad... although this could describe other aspects of my life.

On mine, the zerk is pointed towards the right. Reach from the right side by the rear sprocket, across the swingarm & I can reach right up to the zerk. Works best laying on your side behind the machine & with a pistol grip gun with the longest hose you can find.

It is actually easier (for me anyway) to reach from the right across the swingarm behind the rear shock than it is to try and fit my hand around from the left behind the belt cover. If I EVER have the fender off for any reason, I am going to extend the zerk. Implement dealers have small diameter high pressure hoses with ends that match zerk threads. Unscrew the zerk, screw in the hose, put the zerk in the other end. Can get them from about 6" up to maybe 24" long. They even have a metal sleeve on the 'loose' end so you can cable clamp the end down & not squash the actual hose. It isn't on my 'gotta do' list, but it IS on my 'maybe someday if I get to it' list. I would think the hose would be well protected by the frame & such.
