That dealer is a rip off. Remember who they are and never give any business.

They have the best 4x4 design and ride IMO. The fact of more maint to ride ratio is without a doubt true. The statement of they used to be Junk is wrong. My 2000 had more attention to longevity than my 05'.
Example: The upper steering post has a plastic bushing on my 2000. It has a grease fitting to grease it. My 05 has a plastic bushing in the same spot with a threaded hole missing a grease fitting. I told them it was missing when I returned my 05 to the dealer with a load of problems at only 300 miles. My dealer said " It's not missing, It does"nt come with one any more." when I asked why? I was told they removed almost all the grease fittings so they could say you only need to grease 7 instead of 27. If they replaced these location with sealed bearings I would say they stepped up to the maint. concerns. Instead they just removed the fittings and called them greased for life bushings. My top steering post is now squeaking.
My new 800 has been a complete failure with polaris leaving me to deal with it. I have owned 11 models from them. Listen to your friends.I hope Polaris comes around but for now,I'd stay away from them.
This is my opinion. Many here could have the engine fall out of the frame while driving down the trail and still tell you it's a great machine. Do your own research and drive as many as you can. I was completely thrilled with my 800. I posted about it being the best rig ever. Then I hit 100 miles and the parts started falling off. It's been a nightmare ever since. I worry about rides alone and If my 9thous. machine will make it back. Not a good investment for fun.
