Blown Elka Shock????
Hey. I just went out and was gonna pack for my race tomorrow.
I noticed my bike was sitting unlevel, looked wierd, tires were fine. Looked underneath and my shock was leaking a fluid. I haven't ridden since my last race, and it seemed fine then. It has leaked a LOT of fluid, and that shock isnt working much.
My shock guy will be at the race, is this something he could fix there, or do you think he would need his shop? I dont know if you just put in more fluid, and how any of that works. Anyone know?
He doesnt bring any special tools with him, just his race trailer, as he races too. Do you need anything special?

Blown Elka Shock????
Well the race starts at 3:30, and its 3:19 now, and I am at home. I took it up there and Santo Derisi, my shock guys, said there was no way to run it. It obviously started leaking during the last race and i never noticed. With one shock weak, the other was doing twice the work. Well, both need to be re-build and have new bump stops put on. Luckily he is going to do it for me free of charge, but, I am having to miss todays race, which blows.
