THE POLARIS DIESEL ATV, IS IT POWERFUL?? AND WHY STOP MAKING IT ?
I have never drove the Polaris diesel, but I have seen some reviews of owners. They all said it was slow for the main reason that naturally aspirated diesel engines don't make a lot of hp. Note; it had good torque, but would never win any races. It is said to be very reliable. It was dropped for one reason: It didn't sell. For the most part, the individuals who owned them were very happy with their purchase.

Yes Elbongo, you are correct. It's funny to me how things boil down to winning races and speed. I own a Polaris diesel, and a Magnum. I'm not racing either one of them and they are both slow compared to most other models. The diesel only goes about 40 MPH, but it will drag your house along behind it. I buy ATV's for them being "utility vehicles". It would be hard to feed the cows on a sport bike doing 60 mph and besides, my bloodhounds always run along side and they can only run so fast. Ask them and they'd tell you that 40 mph was way to fast for them. What an awesome powerhouse it is, there's just more people wanting to go fast and have fun on a bike, than folks who work them. And as a guy here named Farmer once said in one of the funniest posts a few years back -"Did I mention it was slow"

Sorry, yes. B100 is usually shorthand for 100% bio-diesel.
Sometimes you will see B20 which is 20% bio and 80% rotten dino juice.

Yes - I've been making BD for 4 years now and every vehicle, on or off road, except for my wifes car, runs on 100% homebrew BD. I make about 100 gallons a week. The engines run cleaner, quieter, smoother and Yes, even the Polaris diesel loves it. Combined street vehicles alone, I've logged around 60,000 miles. I also think it's awesome that ya'll noticed and knew about the B100 in the sig. Thanks !
