I have a warn 2.5 ci winch on the front of my SP 500 HO but I was wondering if anybody made a winch mount for the rear of the atv. I was thinking about trying to find a cheap used winch to mount on the rear. I don't have access to tools to make my own winch mount. Any ideas??

Warn makes a multimount for alot of machines, check them out. THis way, even if you dont use their mount, you can make your own and bolt it to the same places their engineers have figured to bolt theirs to.

I made a rear mount for a winch and rear drawn attachments. It's cut from 3/8" steel and bolts directly to the frame. I didnt drill any additional holes in the frame.
Works great.
You will need access to a cutting torch, drill press bolts and wrenches

 

i have a rear winch mount on my trailboss that i got from polaris.

 

go to www.azmotorsports.com and do a search for "warn" and include "Closeout" in the search, you should be able to get a 2000lb winch for JUST over $100.

I made front and rear mounts, bought the bumpers and put 1" reciever style mounts on both ends. Ran wires to both ends with quick connectors, use it more on the rear than on the front and store it in the front bag when not in use.
