noisy 2 strokes... quiet??

Default noisy 2 strokes... quiet??

Have a 88 trailboss .. I'm not sure what they are called but they are rubber thingies that go on the fins of the head.. I want some.. anyone knwo where to get them? and do they work to quiet vibrations??

They are called fin dampers and there are a handfull of them that go on the head. worldofpowersports.com has them for the '90's models of the 250 trailboss. They are about $11 each though. I havent had any experience with them but I don't think they are there for cosmetic reasons. I have gotten parts from worldofpowersports before and have had good luck with them. They have parts on microfiche so you can see what you are looking for if you don't know what it is. Good luck.
