i have a 500 that i believe is a 96 97 or 98 can't find the model # to determine the year. the only numbers are the stamped frame 2929081 and on the recoil starter housing sticker #9602607 and eh500ple0103269. need to get some parts and want to have the exact year for reference. thanks

 

I know the tenth digit on car VINs designates the year, here is the list:

I am not sure what you are saying, count over ten digits from the first digit in the VIN and then look on the list.

Or are you saying that the 4 wheeler VIN has a different number of digits?
