Default Any tips for ATV pulls?

I went to the atv pull in humboldt today and it was alright that had the weight transfere up so fast that the four wheelers would only go about 30 ft and spin out, there was a 750 brute force that didn't do very good and a 400 foreman with 27" mudlites did alright. The track was dry and slick. Thinking about going up too garden city and check that one out. Coulple of 500 sportsmans did good also.

If you know of any other pulls in MN/WI please let me know.
I believe there is one in Rose City on Aug 11, and the Quadmaster's Challenge Course will be at the Benton County Fairgrounds Sep 24-25.

I'm pretty sure the pull starts at 3pm. I'll try to find a flyer today and double check.

Look for the fat guy on a red AC650. =)

Chum,

Do you know what the weight classes are also? Just wondering because we're thinking of bringing the 200 duckster 3 wheeler.

Honestly I don't remember. I keep forgetting to drive by the place I know has a poster for it every time I go to town. I decided to call the place and just have someone read the info to me, but they took the poster down cuz it was getting ripped up. I am currently on hold with the local newspaper trying to find something out.

Ok, I finally got the name of the right person to talk to, but he wasn't home.

I left a message and hopefully will have some more info before its too late. Here is what I know so far:

Gates open at Noon.
ATV pull starts @ 3pm
$10 entry fee
Helmet and clevice hookup required
There are weight classes, but I have no idea what they are.
Kids and adult classes
I think there are trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, but I don't remember for 100%
