Default 800 Sportsman Finally delivered

Hey everyone,

I am proud to say my sportsman finally arrived here and it is now officailly street legal, I have been riding it back and forth to work for the last 3 weeks and it is a blast! I passed a cop the first day and got nervous but then realized, hey this thing is licensed (heee hee). I have posted some pics of my new street tires in the gallery the tires look a little funny on a 4X4 quad but it is a smooth ride. I don't know how long it takes to get them approved but hopefully they will be up soon. take care all, I am going to the grocery store LOL.

Cool! Congratulations! The cop was probably thinking; What the he!!? Are you in Germany with your Sportsman? If so, did you have it shipped over or did you buy it there?

Your pics shouldn't take too long. Mine were approved in less than a day.

I had it shipped over here. They do sell them here but the price is about $13,000.

Nice 800. Wish mine were street legal...

Are all those tires the same diameter? Putting smaller rears than fronts would make the awd system not function properly, whereas the opposite would be fine (larger rear than front - just makes awd take longer to engage).

Yes they are the same size, I think the pic just makes the fronts look bigger. the fronts are 25x8x12 and the rears are 25x10x12. I haven't tried to use the AWD yet but hopefully it wont affect it.

AWD will be fine with the same diameter like that.

I wish my quads were street legal. You got me jealous. Want an american foreign exchange student for the summer?

I think the street tires look pretty cool.

Thanks for doing your part. It's nice you got to take your family with you.

Nice.

The stock tire diameter is 26" your speedo may be off, you dont want to give that cop a reason to pull you over.

BTW what kind of gas mileage are you getting with those street tires riding on pavement?
